Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg Airport (BSL / MLH / EAP) is an international airport serving three cities in three countries: Basel ( Switzerland ), Mulhouse ( France ) and Freiburg ( Germany ).Geographically it is located in France, specifically in the Saint-Louis – close to the Swiss and German borders. It has a special status as a so-called “Euro-Airport”. The airport serves around 4.5 million passengers annually.
Basel Airport has a French section (which applies to the Schengen area) and a Swiss part. Before boarding the plane must pass an “international” zone.
There is no train for the airport, but several bus lines can be used both to Basel, Mulhouse and Freiburg. Moreover taxi supply well.
