Zaragoza Airport (ZAZ) is an international airport located in northeastern Spain – 15 km west of Zaragoza city, 270 miles west of Barcelona and 262 miles northeast of Madrid.
The airport is called in Spanish “Aeropuerto de Zaragoza”.
Zaragoza Airport was first opened in 1940 and today serves 751,000 passengers a year (2011).
From the airport there are direct flights to about 11 destinations in Europe – including to Ibiza, Majorca, Menorca, Lanzarote, Tenerife, Brussels, London, Paris and Milan.Some routes are only seasonal. Airlines Ryanair, Air Europa, Iberia and Ryanair flies here.
Zaragoza Airport has one terminal building. Facilities at the airport include café, a few shops, ATMs, information counter and Internet access. There are no hotels at the airport, but several in the area.
