Javea is located on the southeast coast of Spain, on the Mediterranean Sea and belongs Valencia region.The city is located in the province of Alicante – in the northern part of Costa Blanca.

Javea has 32,000 inhabitants (2011), and is a quiet town most of the year. In summer, however, tourists flock here, and when faced sun, swimming and beach in mind.
Coast consists of wide sandy beaches and small coves, and the city has a nice harbor – where luxury boats side by side.
Despite the fact that many tourists flock to the city during the summer, this is not a city with plenty of tourism. There are no tall buildings or huge tourist complexes, but several small hotels.
Arenal beach is the city’s biggest tourist attraction, and it is popular to stroll along the city’s waterfront – where you also find shops, bars, night clubs, restaurants and utecaféer.
In the summer there are also a number of stalls here.
The old town of Javea consists of narrow alleys and streets, and here you can visit the Gothic “St. Beromus church” – where the oldest parts originating from 1244.
Other tourist attractions in the city is “The ethnographic and archaeological museum” and art gallery “Atelier 1”.
The nearest airport is Alicante Airport, which is located 110 km southwest of Javea.Another option is Valencia Airport. This is located 123 km northwest of Javea.
