Malmö is located in southwest Sweden by the Øresund (sea area between Sweden and Denmark), and is part of Skåne.The city has about 303,000 inhabitants (2012), and thus Sweden 3 largest (after Stockholm and Gothenburg ).
From Malmö is the road and train connections across Øresund to Copenhagen in Denmark (Oresund Bridge).
A famous landmark skyscraper in Malmö is “Turning Torso” which rises 190 meters above the ground. This is Scandinavia’s tallest residential building.
